1980 SUPER RARE Japanese 3D tabletop game similar in style to Space invaders. Unlike any other tabletop LED game, this very groovy looking design layers the graphics over a colour backdrop to create a 3D display, similar to the original Space Invaders coin-op.

 

This example of the game is in Excellent, fully tested condition, close to 10/10. There has been a repair in the battery compartment, but doesn't effect play, and includes battery cover.  Also included are the manual and original box with poly inners. Outer box is slightly worn but holding together quite well, 7/10. 

 

LED Electronic games dominated the toy industry between 1977 and 1983. They use light emitting diodes to create displays made of lights. Later LED games use vacuum formed displays, which allow detailed coloured sprites to be animated on-screen. Today handheld and tabletop games rank amongst the most valuable and collectible retro game formats
