The original 1979 Atari 800, when released this was the most powerful home computer available, with 48k, three channel sound, and hi-res colour. When launched it cost over £800 in the UK. While it was relatively successful, the Atari 800 and it's later updates never managed to compete with the Commodore 64 despite having a comparable specification.

 

This rare UK PAL example is in Excellent, fully tested condition 8/10, just normal light signs of use. Very slight interference through the aging in-built RF cable, but perfectly usable. All keys tested and set also includes official power supply and manual.
