Vowels Of The Earth Series by EIC Software 1986-1987 SUPER RARE MIA Arcade Adventure Game Set. This is probably the rarest item listed on the Retrogames site. Not one, but the full series of five 'Vowels of the earth' adventure games. These games were designed by educational psychologist, Jo Westwood, and only sold to a handful of UK schools to educate children when learning their vowels. While the games have you searching for words in various locations, these are joystick controlled action games. Not even listed on Spectrum databases, it seems these games were released individually, rather than as a set. The first in 1986 with a different label design to the remaining four released in 1987. As we were lucky enough to acquire the complete five game set, it seemed wrong to break them up and list them individually.
They are all complete and in Excellent condition. Cassettes for ZX Spectrum computers.
MIA Games are 'Missing in Action', a term used by Spectrum collectors for games which are completely unknown, or known to exist but so far not found by any collectors. Often games like these are the last examples which exist on planet earth, so very exciting additions to any serious collection!
