1983 SUPER RARE Handheld console which plays 3D Game cartridges -  Like the Tomytronic 3D games, you play by looking through the goggles and control the action with buttons on top of the unit. Unlike those Tomy games, the Gamate took cartridges - strange hybrid cartridges with double screens built into them, allowing more than one game to be played on the system.

Not only is this one of the rarest handheld consoles in the world, but this example is in Near Perfect condition. Looks unused. We took it out to test it, loading the included cartridge - Formula 500 - admittedly this is not a very fun racing game, but the display was clear and sound was loud. The start and select buttons are responsive -  the car on screen moved but was slow to respond - most likely because the game uses very simple technology. Console includes strap, battery cover, original manual, Formula 500 Game cartridge with its own separate manual.

The outer box is in amazing condition, 10/10. Includes poly inner with lid, and plastic bag for cartridge - which sits in a little pocket under the console.
