Neo Geo AES Console - Japanese Probably the greatest cartridge based console ever made. Unlike any other home console, the Neo Geo Advanced Entertainment System (or AES) allowed you to play the games from the arcades. It literally housed the same hardware as the SNK coin-op machines. This meant that not only was the console considerably more powerful than anything else available at the time, but it was also considerably more expensive.
Cartridges contain two arcade boards, and so are quite huge compared to the more familiar cartridges for the SNES or Megadrive. They're heavy and solid, and amongst the most collectible games in the world. They include huge amounts of solid state memory, making them incredibly expensive, many costing over £300 even when released.
This example is very good, fully tested condition, typical signs of use but no significant marks or damage, 7/10. The Set includes the console and tabletop joystick, UK Compatible Telegames power supply, and digital SCART TV cable. Missing the rubber feet on the bottom of the console and the joystick. J oystick end has a few cracks under the plastic - very common issue and doesn't effect use at all.
The power supply is UK three pin plug format.
