Defender by Entex 1982 Tabletop game , which plays a version of the Williams coin-op classic. This game features a large multi-coloured display, a game speed conrol dial, and two levels of skill.
This example of the game is in Excellent, fully tested condition. Sound is loud, display is bright and all controls are responsive, 8.5/10 overall. Includes both battery covers and instructions on the base. Also includes original manual and outer box. Outer box is tatty and worn, missing top flap and without inner packaging, 3/10.
LED Electronic games dominated the toy industry between 1977 and 1983. They use light emitting diodes to create displays made of lights. Later LED games use vacuum formed displays, which allow detailed coloured sprites to be animated on-screen. Today handheld and tabletop games rank amongst the most valuable and collectible retro game formats
