An additional head unit plugs into the two sockets on the front of the console. The head unit is an adapted Nintendo DSi console without any cartridge slots. Instead there are two heavy duty cables coming from the back of the console to connect to the main machine. This set was sold to developers for $4000 when it was released. 

This example is in Excellent physical condition with rare head unit and power supply. We powered it up and it seemed to be working perfectly, with menus appearing on the connected head unit. We assume it is fully working, but due to the specialist nature of this hardware, we have not tested development functions, so sold as seen.
